Looks good!  I dig the tab and slot construction on the enclosure.  Did you burn/punch and bend that or buy it?

Hey, a friend made it for me in a metal factory, and it's made from Duraluminium, very hard to drill and expensive material. I got only two of them, but I'll probably not gonna buy them anyhow for my next builds. They look awesome though

Hammond 1590B - 60's Canadian RCA 12AU7

No mods, from the Beavis layout -  9V. or 12V.

Hammond 1590BB - New, Groove Tube 12AU7's -Nice/Good sounding tubes.

The circuit is on VERO board. The VERO board has two 7/8" holes drilled into it - to mount the tube sockets.
The circuit is between the tubes.

I used the Renegadrian twin tube vero layout.

Smooth drive but gets noisy when you aren't playing. I solve this with a BOSS NS-2

9V. or 12V.

The top of the enclosure is made from a steel serving tray, bought from a thrift store - 2bucks.

The box is shielded inside and made of wood & covered in brown tolex.
The profile of the enclosure is angled, like a Big MUFF.

The circuit is on VERO board. The VERO board has two 7/8" holes drilled into it - to mount the tube sockets.

Two new No-Name Chinese 12AU7 Tubes.

The new Chinese tubes when you look at them close
you can see the plate and cage aren't as robust as the old tubes.

The new tubes are harsher in sound.

Gets noisy when you aren't playing.

I solve this with a BOSS NS-2

60's  SYLVANIA 12AU7

The enclosure was being scrapped and is some kind of electrical break out box made by Square D

It is solid steel and was very hard to drill.

But this valvecaster is VERY quiet.

No mods, from the Beavis layout -  9V. or 12V.

The enclosure was being scrapped and is some kind of electrical break out box made by Square D.

Thin steel , easy to drill.

The enclosure is 5" wide x 8" high x 2" depth - stable on it's removable leg fins.

Good creamy/cruncy sound.

No mods, from the Beavis layout -  9V. or 12V.

This Valve Caster I sold - it has a ColorSound One Knob Fuzz housed with it.

The part of the blurb that reads "a 9 volt regulated AC adapter is required" had me thinking that you were supplying regulated 9 volt AC to the pedal.  I had to think about it for a minute...
