So I got a bunch of pcb's from AION Electronics. All overdrive/distortion.

I want to build 2 in one enclosure, but I can't decide which ones to pair together.

The pcbs im considering for the dual pedal:

Zendrive
Bluesbreaker (plan on building to King of Tone Specs)
Tubescreamer
Rat
Shredmaster
OCD

If you could pick 2 of these to pair in one box what would you choose? I have a few combos in mind but I thought it would be a fun discussion topic.

Please include the order you would put them in the chain too. I seem to remember seeing something about wiring a switch to flip the order, but I'll have to look into that more. Also this will be a tight fit and I'm not sure if I'll have room for it anyway.

I also appreciate any other input on building dual pedals.

I'd put something nasty, like a Rat, in 1 box, with an AMZ Mosfet Boost.  Run the Rat for rhythm, hit the boost for solos - now you have that issue out of the way...into a tube amp...but that's just me :)

I'm with GibsonGM on this one. A dirt and a boost are made in heaven together. But, since you don't have a boost (something like the AMZ or a SHO would be easy enough to do on perf or vero), I'd try out the drives you have and see what ones stack best together. Or research on some forums to see what other people like stacking the best. If you put two OD's together that don't stack well, I don't see the point of putting them in the same box.

Talking about dual pedal i really use a delay. I made a dual delay for me because i use delay a lot! Hahahaha, but talking about distortions, i really agree with Mike.

Maybe a shred master + tubescreamer can be a nice idea. :) Using the ts like an little drive and boost and the shred like a principal dist. But is only an idea.
That's all, Folks!

OCD into RAT...mostly cuz I love the OCD and the RAT just sounds cool!

I also have a verified effect order switcher, I'd be happy to send you the diagram!

Thanks for the suggestions.  I like the boost + distortion idea. I have a few larger enclosures so I will probably do one like that and one with 2 distortions.

Also I'd love to see that diagram canman.

I support the booster + Distortion pair.
I've recently built (not 100% finished yet, but almost) a combo with a sansamp GT2 and a SHO, with a reverse order switch, and they  work perfectly together.

I put the booster in front if I want to get more grit from the GT2, or reverse it if I want simply extra volume for solos (usually this is what I do)

It's a perfect combination for me.

Another one I like is compressor + overdrive.  You don't have the compressor on a board, but if you would be willing to perf a booster, you might look into the BearHug compressor for something that is only slightly more complicated.

Make a double pedal cradle with snap in connectors, at least for the three knobbers ods you will be able to change them on the fly.

I bet bluesbreaker and rat will sound good toghether.
