Never heard of them.
Located in Thailand.
Looks like the same goods as Tayda.

Edit: The listings and prices seem to be the same as well! Something is rotten in Denmark! ;)

I just designed a new fuzz circuit! It almost sounds a little different than the last fifty fuzz circuits I designed! ;)

thanks for this site, i like it a bit more than chonelectronics! Is the shipping free?, if not,how much is the shipping for eu? oh and how many days does the delivery take?

I'm not sure about the shipping to EU but, Tayda has one of the lowest shipping charges to the U.S. out of all of the part suppliers.

Put some items in the cart, select your location, and you will see the shipping charge.
You don't have to commit to the purchase.

Both Farnell and RS also have EU stores in several countries.

http://www.rs-components.com/index.html

These are major suppliers and have excellent prices and huge ranges, but are more set up for large volume manufacturers than small orders. That said, they both do small orders without complaint.

I've ordered from Tayda. Elements are insanely cheap, they have most of the things I'm looking for.
Anyway, I've ordered bunch of 1/2w resistors, caps, leds and list goes on and on, for my fuzz face clone (I've also ordered wires shrinking tubes etc.). I had around $6 worth of electronics there + ~$2 shipping (est. delivery 7-14 days)

I don't think there is a better website price wise.

I'll give those websites a try on my next order and see which one fits the best.

Just for your information 1/4 watt are the usual size for pedals around 6.3mm across 1/2 watt can run up to 9.2mm and if space is tight you can use 1/8 watt which are around 3.7mm across.

Most BOM's (bill of materials) will tell you what ratings you need for the components but not all there are quite a few assumptions made in pedal building i.e that you know 1/4 watt resistors are used 99% of the time and how to do offboard wiring to switches etc, but you're in the right place if you come across something you don't know which it's assumed you do!

and good luck with your first build
