Hi guys!

I brought all my pedals to work to finish assembly today and I forgot which of the two terminals are tip/sleeve.  Crap.  Long shot if anyone knows which is which?  Short one and a long one.  Remarkably there is zero info on a forum/google search.

Thanks :)

I forget every time too. Short one is ground - plugged in a wall wart to verify.

You can easily use a multimeter using resistance or continuity checker. One probe/clip on the tab, then touch the middle pin and/or sleeve. Whichever gives you a beep or little resistance is belongs to whatever tab you have the other probe/clip connected to.

Yes^
and... if you're at work and don't have that on hand, maybe you have a 9v battery, a resistor and an LED light... duct tape it all together and make a continuity tester... but then it probably is quicker to ask diystompboxes.com  ;D

I have limited access to tools here so if I had a multimeter etc I would have used it :)
