I'm in the process of building this stompbox on vero (as a weekend project ) http://tagboardeffects.blogspot.ca/2016/03/madbean-turnabout-jhs-andy-timmons.html
it calls for a on/off/on switch & that is the only part I don't have .i Have a whole bunch of on/on switches would I be able to work around the switch difference & use my on/on switch & be able to get 2 of the 3 modes & when i get the proper switch swap it out .  how would i wire it ?    ..thanks.....

Using two of your on/on switches (one side of which would get grounded) is possible. Though its hard for me to tell without an schematic. Theyre a lot easier to interperate.

As long as your on/on switch is an SPDT it should work fine, giving you just 2 of the 3 options. Wire it exactly the same as you would the on/off/on switch. "Sw 2" goes to the middle lug of the switch, "Sw 1" and "Sw 3" are arbitrary, just as long as they aren't on the middle lug. Hope this helps :)
