this is a product that I came across in the crafts section of our local hardware store, I believe it is similar to liquid glass and is usually used for badges and the like.

In short it is a rock hard, two part crystal clear epoxy resin with fairly low viscosity (similar to, but maybe a bit thicker than engine oil).

Once spread out it flows up to edges, and 'domes' up to them, hence the name.

Here I've used it on a powder coated TS808 clone, over a one piece clear waterslide decal.

I'm pretty happy with the results, the gloss level is very high and it appears to be tough with good adhesion so I think it will provide good protection.

There were a few caveats to using it:

-The enclosure needs to be perfectly level throughout curing

-Cure time is 48 hours

-specks of dirt can cause a dimple to appear in the surface (as with any surface finish)
