Here is a link to the tonepad pdf

On/on/on's come in two flavors, so check the connections with a DMM and adjust the layout accordingly.

On a tonepad ts808 pcb what do I jump and what do I connect to make this work?

It has a place for three diodes in parallel.

Here is the schematic pdf link:

you'd remove d1 d2 and d3 on the schem and replace it with the switch with the diodes...

so one wire of the switch connected to where  one side of d1 was and the other wire of the switch to where the other side of d1 was. dont matter which wire to which side...

so basically remove d1 d2 and d3 and dont jumper anything, then connect the 2 wires of the diode/switch combo to either end of where d1 was. blue to 1 side of old d1 location, green wire to the other.
nothing says forever like a solid block of liquid nails!!!

I understand.  This is my first build and I was afraid to got out on a limb, but I think this mod will be worth it.  Thank you for your clear explanation.

alternatively you can also use On/Off/On as long as the Diodes wired across both center lugs are LEDs and the ones on the outside have a lower forward voltage.
