Remote Bypass Looper

I have been looking for a remote controller, a remote looping switch. Connecting to some kind of patch-bay at the pedalboard (back by the amp) and a single cord running to front stage. The main idea is to eliminate pedal effects from the stage. I have had no luck finding this. Am I looking in the wrong places? should I learn to build my own? Do any of you build this?
