Got a ModTone Speedbox in a trade, just for the fun of studying a new pedal, its monetary value is very low, but the fun is worth. soooo....
The description from the company is so ridicolously blatant

The ModTone MT-DS Speedbox distortion pedal emulates the tones of a vintage amp or classic overdrive and is housed in a compact all metal box that can take all you dish out. It's not just another fuzzbox. It's also a preamp in itself.

The ModTone distortion pedal features a simple 3-knob configuration for overdrive bliss. Starting with a custom-tailored Tone knob, you can dial in just the right amount of sparkle and warmth while still retaining all the crunch and tonal clarity you love without a hint of noise. Next is the Drive knob and it's truly where the heart of this pedal lies. The custom-voiced overdrive circuit and proprietary gain stage setting allow you the option of getting a delicious overdrive tone from your clean amp or combine it with your amp's overdrive setting to achieve a thick and creamy lead boost that sustains for days. Last up is the Level control that allows you to select the perfect amount of gain whether your style is a touch of the blues or an all-out metal blitzkrieg.

The Modtone MT-DS Speedbox, like the whole family of ModTone effect pedals, features period-correct, vintage-style components, smooth linear taper pots, high-impact switches built for the floor and top quality jacks for optimum tonal transfer.

custom-voiced overdrive circuit...proprietary gain stage... ::) :o
nothing so different from a marshall drive master gain pot, and a slightly different diode arrangement on the clipping stages...some stange arrangements here and there but hey it's not something to rip your hair from your head in awe...

anyway, I will try to translate the missing resistor codes, they are small 1/8w metal res with too many lines  ;D and some unmarked caps.

here's what I have so far

I'm surprised it's all through hole components considering Modtone make 'cheapies'

Doesn't matter what you did to get it... If it sounds good, then it is good!

Done tracing the schematic, it it quite the same you posted, but googling around I saw XL versions (which may use your schematic) while mine reads XXL. it seems they made small modifications hence the two versions. I reuploaded the schem, it should appear in the first post.
it seems like a reworked Marshall Bluesbreaker with a muff-ish tone stack.
