well, ive been noticing something...

with the 220n/220r going direct to ground...it has a really nice heavy blues SRV ring to it very woody especially on neck pups.

with the 220n/220r as ben has to VB , its much more warm n chuggy.....

i'm going back to the beginning again...and re-tweak from there...

i know my sound is in there, just need to rip it out of it..

i may be some time....maybe 27 pages worth..

I want to experiment with this some more but unfortunately someone just bought my delay pedal and now I need to make a new one ASAP!
I can't live without my delay now that I realize how cool it was!
I will wait for another 30 pages or so and see if you have created the ultimate version of the Metal Screamer

Ben - draw the circuit of your pot mod, see if it makes any sense then. or put 100k in series with CW instead.

dress warm, DA (t.o.). also, the V/2 // gnd difference suggests your V/2 is not quite up to the task at hand.

just found a mad one...for those that are playing along..

full on hi gain, with gate, no tone control......total silence, no squeel,  no caps in gain section, or feedback loop...

the 1k from IC1 out goes to middle junction of 220n/220r...gnd.

good for a 2 pot hi gain riffer...

GND T was just for pads on a future pcb for sheilding purposes....
