You could do a PAIA Gator. needs a ca3080 to 13700 conversion.
Engineers thumb - the 13700 is in a negative feedback loop, so "the audio doesn't go through it". Sorta. The audio to be removed goes through it
I've wanted to do the same with a gate or expander... But I have failed to get the thumb up and running so far.
Tri-vibe is awesome. Did one in stereo.

Well, thanks everyone you guys really helping. Seems the engineers thumb and noise gate/expander would be a good project to build. Since they are useful for my rig.
