Finished it yesterday.

Plugged it into return of Marschall DSL100H today at band practice. It's a great preamp indeed.

No gutshots, sorry. My offboard wiring is nasty.  :icon_redface:

did you ever get it to work and make it real or has just remained just a sim?!

It is on the list of things to build.  Should work it is a fender tonestack driven by a similar output resistance first stage. It is boostrapped for both the input and stage after the tonestack.
I posted it it for ideas The input resistance of the circuit you posted is lower and thios loads down and changes the tone of passive pickups can be a good or not so good thing.
Another gain stage I posted with a higher input resistance is the "lead boost" that was built and soon to be installed in a box.
I like seeing people are using BJTs that can be more predictable than jfets and sound good.

Ok Gus Think I'm gonna try to build your preamp soon - it should work great just having a glance at it...Time to put it on vero!  :) It should be like a FET2B (alembic F2B with FETs) using bjts instead...
I made several experiments with the usual "ROG inspired" tube-to-FET translation, basically Fender preamp stages (I posted a nice 3 fet with bax preamp some time ago) but yeah next step is to have some great preamps with bjt, cheaper and easier to bias (no need of voltage trimmers)
