Hello,

I am actually building the bluelay kit from musikding ( really cool analog delay, I had build one for a friend and it was a pain to send it to him lol ) and i am wandering what should be the best way to add a volume knob

Considering this schematic :

I will go for replacing R19 for a 100k pot (voltage divider) and setting the 25k trimer (R5) a little higher to get something louder than unity level at max.

Do you have any suggestion or a better practice ?
Thanks

Should do nicely. Not very important but calculate the freq of the 25k/100p combo and adjust the cap value to work with the new trimmer, but it's a variable resistor application so it's not exact. Theoretical.

Thanks I was missing this point :)

It shoul not affect alot the sound , but It should reduce some highs .

edit :

After calculating the RC filter with the trimer at max (50k) the frequency cut start at 31kherz so it should be good as is

I am also wandering if this trimmer can be after replacement with a standard pot  be used as a volume pot
