Tonepad Coral Chorus resistor question

I'm planning to build the Coral Chorus (Boss CE2 clone) from Tonepad ( http://tonepad.com/project.asp?id=53 ) and since I like to have an excessive amount of control, I'm going to include every mod. Stupidly, I'm going to put it all in a 1590b enclosure too and since the circuit board somehow has to fit under the 1/4" jacks, I have a limit of 5mm (0.196850394 inches :icon_eek:) in component height. Yes, I've found electrolytic capacitors that are only 5mm tall and I'll have to use some MLCC caps instead of the film caps where the jacks will be placed. However, on the circuit board picture thingy in the PDF, there's some weird tiny grey resistors. For example R34 right under the depth pot (VR2). Are those 1/4w resistors standing up or 1/8w resistors? 1/4w resistors standing up will probably be too big to fit under the jacks. Can AT LEAST R2, R6 and R27 be replaced with 1/8w resistors? If not, I can probably figure something else out (for example lay them somewhere else on the board.)

Thank you!
