Aion Aurora compressor oscillating noise

Ok so, i built the Aurora compressor from Aion. The compressor works great only with a "popping oscillation" sound when turned on. Oscillation does not change at all no matter what knob you turn. I am thinking a capacitor or my CA3080ez IC. I guess im looking for affirmation here.

Did you try it with a battery? I once reheased  in a place that used an electric fence and a popping sound manifested itself into every audio appliance used there.

I did not build it with a battery but its worth a shot. On a related note, since i posted this thread i did notice that when i move the pedal further from my amp the noise is no longer audible. I suppose i just need to use shielded wiring.

You may have a ground loop. Can you post a gutshot?
