Aion Andromeda - Diodes

Hi all.  New guy to the forum here.  About to start on an Aion Andromeda (Nobels ODR-1 copy) build.  There are two diodes called D4 & D5 on the schematic and documentation.  I want to build the stock un-modified circuit, and can't figure out if those Diodes should be installed, or left off the pcb to build the stock version.  Does anyone know?

Also - if I leave them out, do I need to jumper anything?

For D4 and D5, there are four pads available (they look like [] O-[] O). If you put your diodes across the outermost pads (first [] and last O) you get the stock clipping setup. The extra pads are for the mod of putting two diodes in series to raise the clipping threshold; if you aren't using them, leave them open.

Thanks much!  Now I get it - and also see how a switch could be used to switch the extras in and out.  Cool.
