Hi, can anybody help, i am building the rick-tone trem-o-drive, the power side is built. living in England i have change the second transformer to 120-12v as advise.
the problem i have is getting 210v from the doubler circuitt, no matter what resistor i use the output voltage stays at 320v.

Hi Joe it's likely that you'll need to post a link to the schematic you're using before anyone will be able to help you. Welcome to the forum :)

I'm confused you put in a 120v as advised. in a country with a 240v mains supply?

You say the doubling circuit gives you 210v?

and no matter what resistor you use on the output your getting 320v?

What are all of these output voltages?

That's done my swede in.......

As moid says a circuit diagram would help.

in england mains voltage is 240v. the first is 240-12v the second is 120-12v as advised to keep the current draw down.
the doubler should put out 210v as per rick in england mains voltage is 240v. the first is 240-12v the second is 120-12v as advised to keep the current draw down.
the doubler should put out 210v as per rick tone trem-o-drive,itsayes if the voltage out put is higher or lower to change the 470k resistor. sorry for any confussion

welcome, also joe.

can you show us photos of what you have built, and give us some part numbers on your transformers, please? you must be dead sure of your wiring working with the mains, or just plain dead.
