Question for tube experts

I have bought this tube as NOS, arrived today in original box:


However, what bothers me is a fact that pins are shiny at the bottom and oxidated at top. Is it a sign that it was actually used, or I am just paranoic?

Probably just from the manufacturing process. You'd be able to tell if it has been plugged into a socket, there would be some evidence via scratching and/or gouging of the pins.
