simple but very cool.

took Tim (of Effector13) up on the idea of him modding a pds20/20 for it too.
so now it self-oscillates AND has a longer delay time (around 12 seconds - while still being able to do slap-back echoes).
i like it.

Strange coincidence! I just had the guts of my PDS 8000 out last night. I was trouble shooting some hiss on the delayed signal though. I was dreading the thought of having to chase down a leaky cap or something, when I noticed the ground wire to the on/off switch had come loose.

But hey, if your going to post something like that post a link or something  I have no idea what this mod is and I'd love to try it. Does it effect the looping function, because thats the main thing I use it for. I have another analog delay I use for slapback.

hi.

i don't have a link or anything for it.
i just know that "Effector13-Tim" has done it on a pds20/20 - so i gave the pds8000 a shot.

it's REEEEEEAAALLY easyhint: look at the trimpots. :D

Hi,
my pds 8000 is not working, and digitech was not helpfull in providing the schematic...they forwarded me to the local distributor that does not know what a pds8000 is...does someone have the schematic for this beast?
maybe the local repair representative in your country has the schematic and you can ask from them

Thanks in advance
desperated,

How about you just tell me what you did?  I think there are at least three trimpots and it would be a lot more helpful if I had an idea what I was doing before I take the thing apart.

Just a suggestion, but notebooks come in really handy for things like keeping track of which pot you make adjustments to. That way you can share that information with other people :D Also, I'm not sure I'd call adjusting a trim pot *modding* a pedal. I think I'd call it, hmmm.... adjusting a trim pot.
