Hi there,

i want to build my effects using a single pcb board. On it i will use neutrik nmj4hcd2, a typical 3PDT from e-switch and a print DC Jacket.

The height of the 3PDT is about 16mm. Which print pot could I use to match this height? It shoudl fit in a B enclosure.

Any advices for models I could use? There are Alpha pots, but their legs are to high i guess: https://www.banzaimusic.com/Alpha-16mm-Long-Legs/.

Thank you all!

you can use an internal nut to alter the height of the 3pdt...

ive never used long leg pots though.....but many do.

I think thats not enough. DOes the height fit with the switch and which switch do you use? What is the distance from pcb to the brushing?

Not as pretty... but you can add heavy cut off component leads to a "lug" style pot.  Then upon assembly, solder the leads to the PCB at the proper height.

I used to really be with it!  That is, until they changed what "it" is.  Now, I can't find it.  And, I'm scared!  --  Homer Simpson's dad

The regular 3PDT switch is approximately 16mm high. According to the datasheet, this pot from tayda is but 9.3mm... I couldn't find the datasheet for a long-legged pots, but in the 3D model that I've found, bushing-to-pin distance is around 21mm, a tight fit for a 30mm high enclosure.
What I would do, is use regular horizontal legs pot soldered to a small adapter PCB of the required length, soldered to the main board with a right-angled pin header.
