Rotary encoder type

Hello,

I'm new here.  I'm trying to find the part number for a rotary encoder that is used on the Behringer  Bass V-amp pro.  it is the one that is used for the effect selection.  Top right hand side.  I've desoldered the broken one that did only work if you pulled the knob toward you. There are no indications on it except for  alps and  4 hc stamped in the metal.

Does anybody here know which encoder to order?

Have you got any more details? What size is it? (9mm, 12mm, bigger?) Can you show us a photo? How many legs does it have? On which sides?
