Hello there,

I hope everyone is fine

Noob question, I am building a simple mixer that can take line level signal to a modular synth and I want to add a mute button. I have nice two pins buttons with embedded led that would look nice. But it makes an open circuit when off. Is it a problem ? I made a green circle on the schematic where the open circuit is.

I was about to start the making when this question popped out, me looking at my paper...

Yes, question is not totally clear, but one mutes a channel by grounding the input, not by leaving it hanging and turning it into an antenna.

Okaaaay, thank you for the links, it made it so much clearer. So I will use the simplest one using the non transistor. Cheers!
