150kC POT

Hello:

I'm looking at building the Aion Electronics Ross/Dyna Compressor.  It has an attack control which calls for a 150kC pot.  I've not  been able to locate one.   Does anyone know where I might find one or if I can sub a 100kC or a 200KC pot which are more readily available?

I know the new 125b version has a mod to convert a 500kB with a couple of resistors but I have the original PCB and I want to use the CA3080 IC.

C200k is not too hard to find - Tayda has them (Alpha). You can add a resistor in parallel to bring it down to 150k (~600k - measure the actual pot resistance and then find the best R value).

If you don't mind wiring the pot backwards (swap pins 1 & 3) you could use a B500k pot in parallel with a 220k resistor (or B1M || 180k) to get close the 150k value. This will reverse the operation of the attack control but otherwise works the same.

I think Small Bear Electronics has them. Not PCB mount, but solder lugs, I believe.
