Germanium Fuzz Face troubleshooting

Hi guys,

I am new at bulding stompboxes..

I am trying to build germanium fuzz face clone from ebay..

The problem is that it doesent work and i have no idea what should i do..

The led works..

This is a positive ground pedal, the red wire from the battery snap should go to the Ring terminal of the input jack, not to the DC jack.  I think the DC jack is otherwise mis-wired, but I can't see it well enough to know.
