NPN PNP Hybrid Fuzz

Do i need a special layout to do a Hybrid fuzz? Or can i just plug and play different transistors if my Fuzz face?  Any help would be appreciated

well the npn caps will need to be reverese for the pnp circuit.

In general, no - you can't mix 'n' match NPN and PNP transistors in a standard Fuzz-Face circuit. It's not clear whether you are suggesting substituting a PNP for an NPN or experimenting with different PNPs and NPNs at the appropriate place in the circuit.

Why are you particularly keen to try a PNP / NPN hybrid circuit?

there's a lot of fuzzes that use pnp and npn together. the more ya look, the more you'll find
