Amdek Distortion - the SD-1's fraternal twin

Sifting through the scanned back issues of Electronics & Music Maker, I stumbled across this circuit for ther Amdek Distortion kit.  Amdek kits were essentially Boss effects with a few small changes.  This one is essentially an SD-1, but with a different sort of tone circuit, more in the realm of Big Muff or DS-1 than the Tube Screamer form.
