Hello,

I recently got this DOD FX96 analog delay. I know there're mix feelings about this pedal, but I'm using a 12V power supply and I really like its sound (with 9V sounded horrible!)
At the moment, the only problem I have is with the mix control (Dry/Tape). It only controls the amount of dry signal without affecting the repetitions level.

Here you can find the schematic: https://www.diystompboxes.com/pedals/schemsc/fx96schem.pdf

I hope you guys can help me with this (I couldn't find any information about this problem)

Many thanks!

IF the echo works, mix control aside, only a broken pot or "wire/track-going-to-pot" can cause that issue
"NOT FLAMMABLE" is not a challenge

+1 Agree. Check the wires on the Dry/Tape mix pot, or if it's PCB mounted look very carefully for cracked solder joints. These can be hairline fractures of the solder and you need good light to see them.

You guys are correct. It was a cracked solder joint. Thanks!

While I'm here, if anyone has this pedal, you can power it with one of these (it fits in the battery compartment):
