Grounding loop question

Hello, I was reading R.G.'s excellent spyder power supply article and I wanted to double check with some greater minds something I'm planning to do:

I'm gonna build  a MultiFx unit (housing around 6 effects), and I was thinking about building a Spyder type supply inside of it to power all circuits individually, but then it became clear to me reading R.G's article that these ground loops happen because of the shield of the guitar cable between stompboxes.

If my multiFX unit only connects the effects using the signal wire (without shields as they'll all be housed in the same already-shielded box), and the only ground connection common to all effects is at the power supply, I could get by using only one transformer without any hum issues, right?

I was planning to use 6 mini transformers inside of the enclosure, but if what I'm asking is right I could free up a lot of space to maybe include a 7th effect.

Another question: if I decide to add a digital FX (for example, an FV-1 based reverb) in my project;  it would be worth  it to power it from a secondary power supply?, or it would not matter because of the hole single ground connection at the PSU thing? From what I've read on this forums they tend to be really noisy.

Thanks in advance!!

Right..!!
(as far as every individual effect ground is unique, equally spaced from power supply GND and returning the same amount of current - in the mean of no voltage offset present between various effects GNDs..)
