Has anyone built a pedal with two foot switches o the short side of a 125B. I am thinking of doing this and was wondering how hard it is to use. Are most people's feet too big for this?

Awesome.  Do you have problems stomping the one you want when it's packed next to other pedals on a board?

you need to pay attention when activating, however if you are trying to squeeze something into the  smallest profile then something has to give.
for me thats as close as i would go, and 3 switches on longest side of a 1590BB

that pedal is the uberschall.
do you need 2 footswitches?
can 1 be a toggle?

I am putting two pedals together. I want to be able to turn one or both on r off while playing so I really need footswitches.

ok, just make sure you have a good grounding scheme :)
