Hi to everybody.

I have a Dunlap Cry Baby 95q. It's the "switchless" cry baby (basically it has a boss/style switch that activates the wah as soon as you step on it).

The problem: I noticed a motorboating-like sound when I turn my guitars volume all the way down and don't touch the strings. It's only noticeable when there is a fair amount of gain from my overdrive that is after the wah. As soon as I turn the guitar's volume up it goes away. Any ideas why is this happening?

Thanks in advance

1) Don't turn guitar to zero. Nobody can hear you.

2) Add 5k in series with the input jack. Some circuits (especially discrete) have bass stability problem when faced with a dead short.

Maybe that's exactly some of his neigbours wish at 3 a.m.  :icon_wink:
