I saw a video on that, how many fets did you have you have to go through before you found 4 matched ones?

i usually get a large batch (30 or so) jfets and test them all, arrange them from low to high threshold Voltage and tape the plastic parts between painters tape, like an ammo belt, and write the test results on the tape.

i use a lot of jfets, really a lot, because i like the tone of certain jfet based gain stages (see pic related) so i can justify ordering a large batch of em, i dont know what your stance is on jfet use for almost all gain stages in your pedals, if you don´t like that prospect, buy the 4 pack from smallbear
