Hello,

Anybody can help me with these mods?

1.- Add a pair of break jacks to the LFO rate control so you can use a volume pedal to control the speed. And an expression pedal? How is the wiring?

2.- Piotr Zapart's LFO mods. I've searched, but I can't found any info and schematic.

3.- Mark Hammer's anti-ticking mod

Thanks.

Kevin Mitchell

1 - You'll want to use some sort of switching jack so the connections to the pedal speed control disconnects from the circuit enough to not interfere. I would try a stereo switching jack, disconnect the outer lugs of the speed pot from the board (leaving the center connected to the board). This would bypass the pedal pot when the expression pedal jack is plugged in.

I can't comment to the other mods since I have no idea what they are. I've etched my own PCBs and ticking was never an issue. I did experiment with R.G.'s ramp LFO mod but never found it worth implementing permanently.

Here's the drawing with the switching jack for the speed pot;

Great!!

Many thanks for the wiring!!

But normally the exp pedals are 10k pots. They are a problem?

Kevin Mitchell

You're correct. I had only considered modding the expression pedal to do this.
I'll think up something!
