Hello!

I am in need of the pot values for the Guyatone Tube tremolo - anyone happen to have a schematic?

Thanks!

I need the schematic as well. Mine has a huge volume boost that I want to tame.

I repaired my MD-2 by contacting guyatone distributer godlyke they sent me the full schematic in pdf form. Its probably best if you quote them the serial number on the pedal so they don't just send them out to everyone.

Hope that helps

Guyatone (info[AT]godlyke[DOT]com) are good like that. Sent me a schematic for my compressor.

Yes, these guys are pretty cooperative with schematics. I aksed them for a schemo for a VT-3 tremolo i bought awhile back, and they sent me one right away...

Cool, they sent me a schematic but they also had this note:

"Please note that the output level is a function of the preamp tube, and you
can adjust the level by substituting lower gain tubes into the circuit.
Installing a trimmer pot may damage the circuit and will void the
warranty...."

I've tried lower gain tubes all the way down to a 12AU7 and I still get a drastic volume boost. I would like to install a trim pot to adjust the output but not sure how it should be done.

Ancient thread but exactly what I need.
I have a VT-X with the opposite problem (mine needs a bit more gain) and trying various triode tubes (12ax7, 12au7, 12at7) didn't have any positive effect.
Godlyke doesn't distribute Guyatone anymore and couldn't help.
Does anyone here have a Guyatone VT-X Flip Tremolo pedal schematic?
I need to find a nice point in the circuit to adjust the signal gain up a bit.
Thanks,
Kris
