Hello, guys.

I'm new here, but i did some searching before my post.

My build has just some mods, for bass use:
Coupling caps
The 1uF cap that i put a 10uF on it's place (i see that suggestion in some topic, if i remember correctly was PRR.)
The output cap 10uf too.

Everything works fine, and my perfboard seems to be without any errors, but my Led's does not blink at all. Just one light up and don't turn off anymore.
Again, everything else seems to be working perfectly.

So, feel free to help me, please.  :)
(I'm from Brazil, so english it's not my first language, sorry).

Bem vinda!  :)  Your English is excellent - far better than my Portuguese!

If you check out the sticky "Debugging" thread at the top of this forum and follow the instructions, we'll have all the information we need to get you going.  And if you can post pictures of your build (top and bottom of your board), that would be very help too.

For anyone else reading this, here's a schematic:

Ohm's Law - much like Coles Law, but with less cabbage...

Thanks for the reply, i'll read.
This one it's far not my best perfboard, but was my only peace ready to go. So, some under link and a pF cap had to be on the other side...

I put the ldr out and put a resistor on, just to check.
The ldr works very well too (i tested with my hands on and out), just that pesky led that is driving me nuts.  :icon_biggrin:

If one LED stays lit and it is the one on the left in the schematic, then it is possible that the capacitor feeding the LED pair from the amplifier IC is failing to block the DC voltage. The capacitor is either bad, connected in reverse polarity or shorted out in the wiring.

Thanks, buddy. I've changed the cap and worked fine.

My LDRs that i have don't quite fit the circuit well, with higher comp settings i had distortion. I tested some resistors in parallel with it and now the compressor is working fine. Already boxed.  :)
