So I found this schematic for a FET preamp on this forum and I want to know if it can be powered whit a 9V by changing some part values?
note: I'm quite a beginner to JFET amps/transistor amps in general!

Are you experienced with tubes? House-wiring? Plumbing?

It is a fairly ambitious build for a "beginner" to get 100% right the first try. I would advise a simpler plan to start.

But go ahead. It's not a lot of cost so not much risk.

Will it work at 9V? Maybe "yes". But maybe like a big limousine with a small-car engine-- not going to impress the customer. Most JFETs need "several Volts" to come to life. Plus signal swing. Here you have two JFETs stacked, so double that. It may get pretty marginal at 9V.

I tried this one with 9V. It's alright, but there's not a lot of headroom, so it's pretty much a metal machine. And quite noisy. i really would breadboard it first and maybe try one or several alternatives - it's a well documented setup, so there's a lot of reading and experimental material. Btw. I remember that the last gainstage (a buffer in this case) makes the output LOUD. VERY LOUD. You will clip anything the comes after :)

Since this is something (I've been an absolute beginner for the last 10 years or so) I'm always tinkering with, there's a recent thread going on which could be interesting for you - lots of schematics included: https://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=123269.0
