I must admit, a lot of this stuff is going over my head, but it's great!

Rob, thanks for those graphs, I can really see how the bass and treble knobs on my Power Boost (VT 3) affect the signal and it definitely seems to match up with what I am hearing. I can also see why the tone controls (VT 7) on my Valeton Preamp (FA-1 clone) react quite differently.

I would also like to say how great it is that so many of you are willing to share your obviously large depth of knowledge, even though much of it is currently wasted on me. But I'm learning (slowly).
