Power supply question. X2 +9v out of split transf

Hi. Can i have 2 isolated outputs +9v using a center tap transfomer and 2 bridge rectifiers with a comon ground?

You need fully separated (independed) secondary windings..

What Antonis said. Doesn't work. They have to be isolated windings.

It's a popular quest. I first saw the attempt to do this in a Radio-Electronics magazine in the 1960. And the first explanation of why it doesn't work.
