Hello,

wich is the best way to clean the PCB, after soldering with flux?

I've tried isopropilic alcohol, but sometimes it is worse...

How do you do it?

thanks.

I find that, in addition to isopropanol on a toothbrush, a bit of ethanol in a glass makes the process more enjoyable.

The toothbrush does leave a bit of sticky film behind, so the process is not perfect, but it seems to become less sticky after sitting for a bit.

There are flux removers available, but I have not tried them.

Hardened flux i just pop off with a stainless steel dental pick. Any remaining dust gets brushed away with a very short bristled artist brush, compressed air if the compressors running.

I have a power jet washer for this purpose but when that is not enough I use a sand blaster.
