Hi,

My baby son got a hold of my Deluxe Memory Man recently and through being rough with the output jack damaged it and upon opening i discovered that all the connections had sheared from the output jack. I have purchased a replacement switchcraft jack and tried to replace it like for like but i am getting no output at all through the 'echo out'. Im not great at reading schematics so hoping you guys coupd shed some light on the issue. See attached pic of my attempt. Thanks in advance

Swap the black and the white wires at the jack.
It looks like you connected the black from ground (at the chassis) to the tip (hot/signal) of the jack while it should go to the sleeve.
And you connected the white wire(signal) to the sleeve (ground) of the jack while it should go to the tip of the jack..

The correct to wire the output jack is: (sorry I had to draw in red, but red is white for your wires)

incorrect:
Put the black wires where the white is and the white where the black is.

You basically grounded the output, which is like turning a volume knob to zero.
