JHS Little Black Buffer - Simple Question

If I wanted to remove the LED from this circuit would I simply remove that and the 470R resistor?  I intend to put it in the True Bypass Looper pictured here so I won't need the onboard LED wiring.

Yes.

You'll be doing yourself a favour, too.  That 470R CLR would have zorched your retina.   :icon_twisted:

I thought that might be the case, normally I use 2K2s and even that's plenty bright.

Seems like rather than simply terminating that unused half of the opamp, why not use it to buffer vbias?  I mean, you're actually doing it anyway, no?  Just one trace change AND you could lose two resistors as a result as well.

On second thought you'd want to add an electrolytic which would cost more than a couple of pennies.  So it would be an increase cost.
