No, the original unit is definitively louder.
It's not a big deal (my build sounds really great, and around unity gain or a tad louder, so i will definitively be using it). It's just that it is not an expected behaviour.
I will investigate a bit further, but it is already really useable as is, and i am glad to have discovered the full potential of this classic pedal
