Noisy Cricket with MP3 player input.

Is it possible to add a second input into the circuit for an mp3 player. The idea of adding a headphone output is great, but it would be even better if you could jam along with some backing tracks and not annoy everyone in the house. Would it be a simple as adding a 3.5 input before the guitar input, or maybe at the output stage?
