That's the sort of thing that I would have updated. I know, I know - "original circuitry" etc etc..blah blah. But who actually wants a P-2-V that doesn't track, really? Just replace that one little piece with something digital that works much better and then you'd have the control over the synth that the original designers wanted but weren't able to achieve with the technology available.

Very true.  I can understand why folks would like a more cost-effective authentic recreation of the MS-20's audio path.  The P-2-V section uses an audio input but isn't part of the audio path, strictly speaking.  Besides, if one is going to make a unit as patch-able as the MS-20, why wouldn't you want a highly reliable P-2-V with great tracking, especially if you were going to feed the CV out to other units?
