Very true.  I can understand why folks would like a more cost-effective authentic recreation of the MS-20's audio path.  The P-2-V section uses an audio input but isn't part of the audio path, strictly speaking.  Besides, if one is going to make a unit as patch-able as the MS-20, why wouldn't you want a highly reliable P-2-V with great tracking, especially if you were going to feed the CV out to other units?
