i have this Jfet distortion unit and like to use it with my trebble booster, but when the input is boosted, there are some weird under tones when a note is decaying, any suggestions? its like a stepped tone generator mixed in with the original signal, and the stepped tones change along with the played note when using the trembar / bending.

friendly reminder: all holes are positive and have negative weight, despite not being there.

what happens when you have phase shift with gain?

not much because the phase shift occurs at 7.5Hz and the frequencies the thing generates are relatively high and there is no feedback in the pedal. if the phase shift would be a problem, there would be a tone of constant pich, but when i play the high E string at the 12th fret, the undertones that are generated are all higher than the low E at the 12th fret while lower strings don't seem to have any undertones...
