I literally bought handreds of germanium transistor and no one fits right to the fuzzrite every time something missing- now every transistor sound too dark when combinding with distortion even the GT402, I didn't try though the AC128 cuz it's too expensive but I know someone clone with it and it sound good with it... but can't I just use random germanium and biasing it or something so that I can fit it right with the fuzz? I tried play with the biasing resistors but nothing it just make the fuzz less gain! Why averything sound ok only on fuzz face?
I'm not looking for perfection but it really sound wierd with the distortion it changing too drastically the sound.

Also if someone got AC128 inexpensive I would happy to buy those...

According to the water analogy of electricity, transistor leakage is caused by holes.

depends on which one you want. matched? or not matched?

If you find it too expensive, I guess there are some russian parts dealers somewhere...
LightSoundGeometry said to email Paul and try to make a deal..

At least from paul, you can be sure that they are real...
flip flop flip flop flip

FWIW, here's a germanium circuit,

luficerstrip tends to post things he has personally built and got working.
