Debugging Line 6 M5

Hey All,

Hopefully this is in the right section.

I had a fault with my line6 power supply, it had a break in the wire and this caused the unit to cycle on and off about 6 times and not fully boot up.

Now it only boots up occasionally, if I power it up and pull the power supply out 2 or 3 times it occasionally boots up, and the screen flashes. There is a tutorial online about the ribbon cable causing this, which I'm going to try the fix tonight.

Does anyone have any advise about debugging this if the cable doesnt work... doesnt seem likely and I dont really want to get another one and this one has only been out the box twice  (used the adapter for other effects, which is why its knackered)
