I'm trying to get a sense of the best path forward for replacing multiple pots in a guitar pedal with digital pots or possibly VCRs, all controlled by a single analog pot.

Are there any schematic snippets showing VCRs or digital pots successfully replacing analog pots in a guitar pedal that anyone is aware of and could point me to?
