rangermaster

Hi

I would like to wire a Rangemaster pnp(negative ground) in to strat. (Using a 9v battery)

It should go on/off by a on/on toggle switch and the guitar controls should stay the same(1 vol, 2 tone). Also the Rangemaster should be wired to the volume pot so the volume can be controlled.

Is this possible? And how to wire this exactly ?

Another question... is it also possible to activate the battery with the switch or can this only be done by a stereo jack ?

Thanks.

Should this work ?

well, wire a DPDT toggle as you would a foot switch!
a range master has its own volume control, the 10k pot, but if you leave the guitar's volume in front of the RM, like if it were a separate pedal, you can still change its volume over the full range using the guitar volume pot.

depends... do you like a huge loud POP when you switch on the RM? that you can use a 3PDT switch to switch its power, if you don't want a loud pop when switching, just get a stereo jack.

friendly reminder: all holes are positive and have negative weight, despite not being there.
