Hi, My fuzz face, wich I built some years ago and was running perfectly, is not working well now. It has AC128 trannys and the voltage on Q2c is 0.9 with 8.6 at the battery, and 8.2 after the 470r resistor.
The voltages now are:
Q1: e=0 b=0.07 c=0.98
Q2: e=0.86 b=0.98 c=0.9
Something is very wrong here!
Did my Q2 died? How can I test it? Thanks!

Q1 Base isn't properly biased..

Check 100k feedback resistor..
(the one between Q2 Emitter & Q1 Base..)

It reads 42k with the resistor on the board, didn't remove it yet.

Problem solved!! Those damned Ge trannys... I followed the tip a friend gave me and heated the trannys a little bit and presto! They work again.
EDIT: Not so fast! As soon as Q1 cools down, the voltages go down just like before. Maybe Q1 has died.

Well I just replaced Q1 with a 2SB175 and everything's fine now. Just a little bit high voltage at Q2c, around 5.2 (I think that was the voltage too before Q1 died), but the pedal sounds great, I'm gonna leave it there!
