diode sub in Tonebender mk4

a 1n270 is typically recommended for the diode between C and E of Q3. I seem to have mistakenly used a D9E instead. Is this a catastrophic error

Germanium is going to be fine.

make sure you fit the russian diodes the right way round - they mark them opposite, remember.

Doesn't matter if they are back-to-back pair configuration..
